Margaret has been referred to a paediatrician

Earliest the paed has any openings is February.
Something needs to be done about rural health in AU.

Is there any way to impress upon the pediatrician that this needs to be pushed up sooner? Or get your regular doctor to try and pull some strings? A 3kg weight deficit is over half her body weight if she's currently 5.5kg, and that's kind of ridiculous that they can't possibly fit you in for another 6 months.

I mean, even here the doctors are booked, I tried getting Matilda in for a check-up in August, and the earliest they could do that is December, but if she was sick or something, there are other openings (case in point, tomorrow I'm taking Dash for a shot with the same doctor, and I tried making both appointments at pretty much the same time).

I appreciate that doctors are fully booked out, but I think that in her case it's serious enough that there should be some way to speed things up.

Good luck, I hope you can get a fire lit under someone to hurry things along.
